Connect to Mythril
Bring your private Compendiums into the chat app you use to write. Create a draft, review it, and continue in Mythril.
Let that chat app set it up
Copy this prompt into the chat where you want Mythril connected, such as Cursor, Codex, or Claude.
That chat app will guide you through sign-in and any steps it can’t do for you.
Set up manually
Add Mythril to your chat app
In that app’s connection settings, add a remote MCP server named Mythril and paste this URL. MCP is the connection type those settings use.
https://fix-pro-1765-mcp.dev.api.mythril.io/mcpThe app also needs browser sign-in.
Sign in to Mythril
Connect when prompted, then sign in and approve access in your browser. Sign in with your Mythril account for this development preview.
Manage your Mythril connectionsCheck your connection
Send this message in that chat app to check that it can access Mythril.
Check my Mythril connection.
Using Codex?
The optional Mythril plugin includes the connection and skills to guide your work.
Download for CodexExpand the download, then ask Codex to follow the installation instructions in that folder. Start a new task once it is installed.
Requires Codex with plugin support. This download connects only to the development preview named at the top of this page.
Upload a manuscript
Ask your chat app: “Create a Compendium from my manuscript.” Attach your manuscripts in chat or provide their file paths. The app will confirm which files to include and their reading order, then upload them.
You do not need a separate file picker. The app uses the same files to prepare a draft for your review.
Available here when the chat app can run the uploader and read your files.
Read the manuscript guideAdd Mythril skills
These pages are instructions for the assistant in your chat app, not steps for you to follow by hand. If the app can install skills, ask it to add these links. The Codex download already includes both.
Service status
Not checked yet.
Checks whether Mythril’s connection service is available. Your chat app checks your account after sign-in.
