# Upload a manuscript to Mythril Attach your manuscripts to the chat app you connected to Mythril, or give it their file paths, and ask: > Create a Compendium from these manuscripts. Your chat app will check whether manuscript creation is available and whether it can read the files. A file path must be on the computer where that app runs its tools. ## Confirm the files and order Your chat app lists the files it will upload. Confirm which ones to include and their reading order, especially when you have multiple chapters or manuscripts. If you already specified the exact files and order, your chat app can use that instruction without asking again. Your chat app uploads those files in the background. You do not need to choose them again in a separate file picker. If upload sign-in is needed, sign in to Mythril with the same account you connected in your chat app and approve file uploads. ## Review your Compendium Your chat app uses the same supplied files to prepare the draft. Review it, ask for any changes, then confirm when you’re ready to save. Your chat app will give you a link to the completed Compendium. If an upload stops, ask your chat app to check its progress and continue. If it cannot access the original attachment, it will explain how to make that file available to its tools. If it cannot run uploads, use Mythril’s web app to create a Compendium instead.
