--- name: mythril-connect description: Check a user's Mythril connection, available capabilities, and read access without creating or changing anything. --- # Check the Mythril connection These steps are for the assistant in the chat app where Mythril is connected, not for the person to follow by hand. Use the installed Mythril server. If more than one Mythril connection is installed, use the one the person names, or ask them to choose before reading private data. Do not switch to a different connection when the one they asked for is unavailable. 1. Call `get_mythril_capabilities` and report what Mythril can do, in plain language. 2. Call `list_compendiums` with `limit: 1`. An empty list still means their account can be read. Do not list their projects or repeat private titles just to test the connection. 3. Report whether both calls succeeded. This confirms sign-in and that their account can be read. It does not prove uploads, AI generation, or that a Compendium finished saving. Do not create test content. If sign-in fails, ask the person to connect Mythril again in this chat app and approve access in the browser, then retry these same reads. Never inspect sign-in files, browser storage, the system credential store, or saved secrets. A healthy public `/readyz` response is not an account check. For creating a Compendium, follow the companion `mythril-compendium` skill. For a manuscript upload, read its [upload steps](../mythril-compendium/references/upload-helper-technical.md).
